While in Homer, I'd like to offer you comfortable lodging at one of three locations in town. I'm sure one of these locations will provide you with the comforts and location you desire.
Let me start with the Moose Horn Cabin. Located just 4 miles from the Homer Spit, this newly constructed cabin offers a breath taking view of Kachemak Bay, snow capped mountains and the beautiful blue ice of the local glaciers. Your hosts John and Yvonne Ketelle will make your stay warm and memorable. This lodge accommodates up to 4 persons and has a complete kitchenette, bath cable TV and a grille on the deck.

Second is the Vista View Bed and Breakfast, located just 5 minutes from downtown Homer. Your hosts Henry and Janet Baldauf will most certainly take care of you and all your needs. The views are fantastic and pets are even welcome! Check out their website.

Third is the Fisherman's Wife B&B. Located 2.3 miles from downtown Homer, Joe and Becky offer quaint accommodations along with condo type rentals. Visit their website or give them a call .

Next is Alaskan Cottages, where Holly will make you feel right at home. Holly's place has an incredible view of the ocean for scenery, and woods in back of it for privacy. This place has it all. Fully furnished with a deck, grill, even a washer and dryer to take care of your clothes after the fishing trip!

And last, but certainly NOT least, for the people who just have to be right in the middle of it all, there are the Sport Shed accommodations. Located on the Homer Spit not even a hundred yards (right across the road) from the Fishing Hole, these quaint little apartments are great for the die hard fisherman. All three places full cooking and bath facilities, ocean views and free fishing rod rentals for the Fishing Hole. Local shops, restaurants and the marina are within walking distance.

All accommodations are very affordable and the owners will be happy to work with you to meet your needs, or I would not recommend them
